The Atlanta Boxing Association (ABA), strongly believes in
protecting the confidentiality and security of information we
amass about our clients. This notice describes our privacy
policy and how we handle the information we receive.
Types of Nonpublic Information Collected:
As an organization which relies upon memberships we generally
collect information from clients in applications or on other
forms, written or electronic correspondence or verbal
conversations. The types of information may be some or all of
the following: name(s), address, phone numbers, date of birth,
etc.
Information Disclosure:
ABA does not disclose for any reason, any nonpublic personal
information about its current or former members or affiliates to
any unaffiliated third parties, except as required or permitted
by law.
Confidentiality and Security:
ABA restricts access to your nonpublic personal information
except to those persons who require such information to provide
membership services to you. The ABA maintains physical,
electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with internal
standards to guard our members or affiliated individuals
personal information.
Information gathered on this website:
ABA collects two kinds of information about users: 1) data that
users volunteer by signing up to receive news and additional
information, including forms, articles, press releases, etc.;
and 2) aggregated tracking data we collect when users interact
with us.
Personal information:
We use the personal information you provide voluntarily to send
information you've requested and to fulfill request for
information orders. The specific use of your personal
information varies, depending on how you contact us;
When you sign up online to
receive an ABA newsletters, we never sell or rent your email
address or other personally identifiable information you
provide us under any circumstances.
When you request information that is to be mailed directly
from us we add you to our general mailing list, and we'll
from time to time send you updates and general information
about our fund.
When you become a registered member of the ABA we add your
information to our internal database and use the information
to provide member services which may include providing you
notice about our affiliate vendors, sponsors, and other
related services.
Aggregated tracking information:
We analyze visitors' use of our sites by tracking information
such as page-views, traffic flow, search terms, and click
through. We use this information to improve our website. We do
not share any information with advertisers that can identify an
individual user.
Cookies:
A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your
computer's hard drive through your web browser when you visit a
website sites. Cookies enable website systems to recognize your
computer, so that they can provide you with personalized
information and features. We do not currently make use of this
technology. This is however subject to change without any
